About us

Being out and about as a family is a wonderful thing. Sometimes quite challenging too! We are excited to walk through life with our boys and pray that they will all become passionate followers of Jesus. We homeschool our kids and want to continue to do so in the future!

Aviel (our eldest) is fascinated by everything that creeps and flies. He is informed about animals that mom and dad don't even know that they exist. But he also loves cooking and baking (because you can decide what's coming to the table). He sometimes plays his violin with great enthusiasm, but sometimes other things are much more important. If you put a box of books in front of him, he is inaccessible for the next few hours.

Josia (almost the same height as Aviel, but 20 months younger) could operate a drill before he could speak. Either way, he is very handy with any tools. If there is a shortage of men somewhere, he is there to help. His dexterity on the accordion is impressive. His physical fitness is manifested in his big appetite - mom wonders if she will have to go shopping with the trailer when he gets a few more years older.

Timeo is usually contentment personified. Sometimes he is almost a little overlooked around his noisy brothers. He can often be found singing. Boredom is a foreign word for him, he always has a project going on somewhere (and mom and dad don't always have to know about it ;)). Whether rabbits or lambs, he feels at home with the animals. He could live almost exclusively on sweets if his parents didn't limit this "food".

Eliam is a rascal par excellence. At the moment, he is constantly having to find out where the limits are. And above all, he has a mind of his own: he'd rather not wear pants than ones with buttons. He spends what little pocket money he has on fresh peppers, although he doesn't disdain sweets either. With his charm, he can wrap almost anyone around his finger.

Marlen & Christoph will soon have been married for 13 years. Although they both come from families with an agricultural background, it was only together that they rediscovered their passion for farming and food production. There always has to be a large dining table in their home, as there has to be room for several guests in addition to the family. They love different cultures, both have traveled to parts of Africa and are excited to see where life (or rather the one who stands above their lives) will take them.
