Vision
What does our heart beat for?
In short, we want people to experience the transformative power of Jesus; we want our passion for sustainable agriculture to be a tool to free people from poverty in different parts of the world in the future and for Jesus to be honored through it all.
Jesus
Jesus is the beginning and end of our journey here on earth. If HE had not turned our lives upside down, given us meaning, hope and perspective, we would not be where we are now. The perspective of heaven, changes everything! We believe that through the death on the cross and the resurrection after three days, Jesus cleared the way to heaven - the way to God. When our life here comes to an end, we will live on in God's eternity. Everything is from HIM, through HIM and to HIM - we want to live for His glory!
People
We love people. We believe that each individual is created by God, unique and wonderful - a masterpiece of the greatest artist. We are convinced that God has a wonderful plan for everyone. We love to see people realize how precious they are through Jesus, rediscovering their identity and understanding more and more that they are called to greater things.
Enough for everyone
When we were traveling with a group in West Africa shortly before our wedding (in 2012), we kept asking ourselves what these poverty-stricken people needed in order to change their lives in the long term. Our conclusion led to Christoph's second apprenticeship as a farmer. We believe that there is enough land available on this earth so that no child (or adult) has to go to bed at night with a growling stomach. We believe, that an agriculture is possible, which is adapted to the location, without chemicals and can be realized by everyone who can work physically. We long for the hunger of the poorest people on this planet to be satisfied in body, soul and spirit. But we also believe that we here in the rich, western world must ask ourselves the question: "What is enough?". We dream that we can have an impact that reaches far beyond the borders of Switzerland! We cannot yet say how this will take concrete shape - but we would like to set out to find out more and more.
Living community
We believe that there is great power in living in community. Challenging each other in our faith, worshipping God together, growing personally and also sharpening each other. We would like to become more involved in a community-based form of living. What this will look like in concrete terms is still quite open at the moment.
